Abstract
The article examines the income of Ukrainian e-commerce by segments, an analysis of general information about parcel lockers, the number of parcel lockers in Ukraine (delivery services, an online store), the dynamics of the number of "Nova poshta" branches and parcel lockers in 2022, reasons for using parcel lockers, views of the consumer, the merchant and the carrier regarding the parcel locker. Objects – the system of functioning of parcel lockers (automated parcel machines – APM). The purpose of the article is a general analysis of parcel lockers as an alternative way to solve the last mile delivery problem. Considered types, functions, problems, advantages and disadvantages, as well as their location, assessment of delivery services of Ukraine, which have their own parcel lockers, and which could not hold on to the Ukrainian market. With the development of e-commerce in recent years, it has become more important for companies to deliver goods efficiently and productively in order to remain competitive in the market. Taking into account the "last mile" step, the use of parcel lockers is one of the alternatives for solving the problems of delivery to end consumers. An automated parcel machines solves the problem of the absence of a user during delivery, optimizing the fleet of vehicles used for delivery and, as a result, reducing the emission of polluting gases.
