Peculiarities of the development of the operations strategy of transport enterprises taking into account the life cycle of the service product

Abstract

The article, based on the analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the research topic, describes in detail all aspects and features related to the specifics of developing an operations strategy for transport enterprises, considering the life cycle of service products. Basic in this procedure are the stages of studying market needs; formation of the nomenclature of service products; determination of the life cycle of services; definition and improvement of operational competitive priorities and development of strategic solutions within the framework of the operations strategy. The object of research is the process of developing the operations strategy of transport enterprises. The purpose of the study is to develop a procedure for forming the operations strategy of a transport enterprise based on the analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the research topic, considering the peculiarities of the transport industry and the life cycle of the service product. Research method – methods of system analysis and modeling. It was found that the need for the restoration and development of the domestic economy is especially relevant now, in the conditions of threats and uncertainty regarding the external environment. Without rationalization of the operational activity of the transport industry, which occupies an important place in the economy of the state, it is impossible to successfully implement the task of restoring the country. In order to achieve goals and survive in today's competitive business environment, in conditions of threats and uncertainty regarding the external environment, transport organizations must focus on operations strategies. These strategies provide for the optimal use of all operational resources of the organization, include a wide range of strategic decisions, as well as all possible crisis circumstances, which are especially characteristic of carriers. The development of the operations strategy of a transport company should be based on relevant information obtained as a result of thorough marketing research. The results of the article can be used to develop an operations strategy in the management of operational activities of both transport enterprises and other business entities of various types of activity, regardless of the organizational and legal form and form of ownership
