Development of labor potential as the main element of increasing the competitive potential of road transport enterprises

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze and improve the system of labor potential development as the main element of increasing the competitive potential of road transport enterprises in the conditions of an unstable environment. The article discusses the main requirements that contribute to the development of the labor potential of a transport enterprise. A correctly chosen approach to the development of labor potential will allow enterprises to attract competent, talented employees and reveal their creative potential; to create conditions for continuous development of personnel and opportunities for personal self-development. Because the success, profitability, and competitive potential of the road transport enterprise depend on the professionalism of the staff and their level of competence. Research results. Labor potential is the greatest value for any enterprise and one of the main components of success in any field of activity. Therefore, every automobile transport enterprise should be interested in constantly improving the professional level of its personnel, in training, training and retraining of employees, and in their promotion. The successful functioning of enterprises is conditioned by the constant improvement of the management system for the development of labor potential, which determines production, economic and social functions. For the formation and effective functioning of the labor potential, it is necessary to have reliable information about its assessment and qualitative, quantitative, value indicators and values. Conclusions. Solving the tasks of developing the labor potential of road transport enterprises, as well as its increase, is today a fundamental task of the company's personnel policy, which needs to be given special attention in order to achieve the strategic goals and objectives of the enterprises. Considerable attention should be paid to increasing the efficiency of using the enterprise's labor potential, its development, effective motivation, and the formation of employee interest in the results of work and corporate consciousness to increase the level of the enterprise's competitive potential. Modern directions for improving the management system for the development of labor potential in Ukraine are: achieving peace and stabilizing the situation in the state; ensuring the safety of the population and the return of citizens; optimization of the training system, strengthening of the system of motivation and stimulation of personnel, professional development, career planning, implementation of an automated personnel management system, creation of a motivating corporate culture
