Abstract
This article is dedicated to the investigation and analysis of strategic planning in the context of managing environmental and economic processes within transport companies. A proposed model for strategic planning of environmental and economic processes is presented. The specificity of strategic management of environmental and economic processes is determined based on a systemic approach. It is elucidated that the stages of strategic planning for environmental and economic processes in a transport enterprise pursue the fulfillment of specific functions and yield a final outcome, taking into account the specifics of the process-functional approach to strategic planning. The functions of the strategic management system for environmental and economic processes are examined. It is determined that the application of a systemic approach to the study of strategic management of environmental and economic processes entails considering all real conditions of its external and internal environment of operation, and the corresponding 26 mechanisms of strategic action must clearly define the components, principles of their operation, and interactions. Object of the study: environmental and economic processes in a transport enterprise.. Purpose of the study: analyze methods and approaches to managing environmental and economic activities in transport enterprises with the goal of achieving sustainable development. Method of the study: theoretical generalization – in clarifying the content of the definition of « strategic planning»; synthesis – in the development of model for strategic planning of environmental and economic processes. It is analyzed that through correct implementation of strategic planning in the management of environmental and economic processes, a transport enterprise can achieve a balance between environmental responsibility and economic efficiency, contributing to sustainable development and positive impacts on the environment. The practical significance of strategic planning in the management of environmental and economic processes in a transport enterprise allows for the rational utilization of resources, including fuel, energy, water, etc., leading to cost reduction and increased operational efficiency. Furthermore, it minimizes the negative impact on the environment through the adoption of environmentally-friendly technologies and practices, enabling companies to reduce emissions of harmful substances and their impact on the ecosystem. Enterprises actively implementing strategic planning in the management of environmental and economic processes can gain a competitive advantage in the market by enhancing their environmental status and reputation
