A model of a linear generator with a permanent magnet to increase the range of an electric car

Ali Al-Ammouri Ruslan Ishchenko Maryna Dekhtyar

Abstract

In this paper a model of a line generator with a permanent magnet for converting the energy of vertical mechanical oscillations of electric car into electric current is proposed. The object of the study – process of converting the energy of vertical mechanical oscillations of electric car into electric current. Purpose of the study – development a model of a line generator with a permanent magnet, which would be distinguished by its simplicity of construction and with sufficient efficiency convert the energy of vertical mechanical oscillations of electric car into electric current. Methods of the study – for the purpose of the study, the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, systematization, generalization, formulation of conclusions. In this work, a ratio was obtained for determining the coefficient of increasing of power reserve of electric car due to the use of the energy of vertical mechanical oscillations of the indicated vehicle. The calculation of the coefficient of increasing of power reserve for the Nissan Leaf electric car in the range of speeds from 30 km/h to 100 km/h for two values of the magnet oscillation frequency of 1.25 Hz and 2.5 Hz 11 was performed. It was found that the coefficient of increasing of power reserve of electric car decreases with the increase in the speed of the indicated vehicle. The results of the article can be used in the development and implementation of energy-saving and recuperative technologies aimed at increasing the power reserve of electric car. Also, the results of the work can be introduced into the educational process during the teaching of disciplines of the cycle of professional training of specialists in the transport industry. Forecast assumptions about the object of study – creation of a prototype for experimental research of the specified method of obtaining electrical energy from vertical mechanical oscillations of electric car that occur during its movement
