Analysis method of transport operations’ energy efficiency

І. Khmelov І. Halona І. Danylenko

Abstract

The paper proposes the analysis method of transport operations’ energy efficiency in accordance with energy and resources saving concept. Object of study – the transportation process, in which the complex of truck’s properties appears as transport technical resources’ medium. Purpose – to identify patterns of structural parameters changing over the trucks’ transport-technological quality. Method study – energy measurement and comparison of cars’ energy characteristics with his reference prototype, methods of set theory and methods of the vehicles’ energy-resource efficiency. The main drawback of the existing methods of study and choice of vehicles is that they are based on the idea of the rolling stock’s cost-effectiveness and do not reflect an important feature of future transport technologies – change the technology and increase the energy efficiency of machine procedures transportation technologies. It is found that the choice of rolling stock necessary to consider the evolution of the vehicles’ structural parameters and variety of transportation conditions. The novelty is to identify the relationship of the technological procedures’ characteristics to trucks’ energy efficiency to improve the energy-resource efficiency of road transportation. The results can be used to justify the investment transportation projects, as well as the organization of tenders for the purchase of rolling stock. Forecast assumptions about the object of study – the definition of rational option car design that delivers its functional efficiency’s optimal performance and maximizing the resources’ output of transportation for given conditions (modes) of operation.
