Improvement of the energy indicators of the engine with spark ignition in full loads modes

Abstract

The article proposes a method of energy efficiency improvement of a spark ignition engine at full load by adding the oxygen-containing compounds to the air charge. The research object is the effect of the addition to the air charge on energy efficiency and fuel economy of the spark ignition engine at full load. The purpose of the study is a theoretical research of the energy efficiency improvement of the spark ignition engine at full load with the addition of nitrous oxide to the air charge. The result of theoretical research shows an effect on energy efficiency of a spark ignition engine with electronic control injection system with feedback by adding the oxygen-containing compounds (nitrous oxide) to the air charge. It is shown that it is impossible to obtain the optimal values of all the main indicators of engine operation at the same time. It is shown that by using a nitrous oxide, depending on the purpose, it is possible to improve engine energy efficiency, fuel economy and pollution. The results of calculation of the theoretical research of energy efficiency improvement of a spark ignition engine at full load by adding the oxygen-containing compounds to the air charge are given.
