Abstract
The article describes the method of infrastructure optimizing for maintenance of rolling stock at a motor transport enterprise. The object of research is the infrastructure for rolling stock maintenance at a motor transport enterprise. The main objective of this work is to optimize the infrastructure for rolling stock maintenance at a motor transport enterprise. Mathematical modeling of processes is a research method. Possibilities of production structure optimizing for a motor transport enterprise are considered. It consists in ratio calculating of own infrastructure existing and the use of subcontractors when the rolling stock (RS) maintenance and repair (MR) cost in the enterprise is minimal. The optimizing method involves the analysis of rolling stock maintenance and repair at the MTE, technical calculation of the enterprise, determining the infrastructure elements composition and cost of maintenance calculating, determining the specific cost of maintenance per 1 km of vehicle mileage and mechanic’s rock time in different configurations of infrastructure. It is proposed to calculate several options for the MTE structure, for example: 1 – own infrastructure and staff; 2 – leased infrastructure and its own staff; 3 – leased infrastructure and production staff, own management staff. The most optimal option is chosen when the total cost of MR as well as the cost of MR per 1 km and the cost of mechanic’s rock time are minimal. The obtained results can be used by enterprises for long-term planning of their activity.
