Abstract
The article considers the issue of developing a methodology for assessing the country's foreign trade security on the basis of macroeconomic foreign economic indicators. The phenomenon of foreign trade security as an economic phenomenon is analyzed. It is established that foreign economic security is a complex complex phenomenon that characterizes the level of realization of national interests in foreign trade. The main elements of foreign trade security are identified: methodology for identification and prevention of risks and threats to foreign trade, form of representation and realization of national interests, system of qualitative and quantitative indicators, public policy, system of relations with other national economic subsystems. It is proposed to include indicators of structure, intensity, efficiency, trade dynamics, as well as trade restrictions as the main criteria of foreign trade security. The structure of trade should be assessed by the index of commodity diversification of exports, the index of commodity diversification of imports, the share of high-tech products in exports, the share of manufacturing in exports, the Herfindahl-Hirschman index for exports and imports. It is proposed to estimate the intensity of trade by export and import quotas. The efficiency of trade should be assessed by mathematical indicators of export and import efficiency, as well as by the budget efficiency of exports and imports. The dynamics of trade is measured by the standard growth rate. Critical values have been determined for each of these indicators. These groups of indicators make it possible to assess the general state of foreign trade security. For a diversified assessment, quotas and bans should be analyzed interrelated by country and commodity. General comparisons make it possible to draw a sound conclusion about the country's foreign trade security. The object of research is the process of managing the country's foreign trade security. The purpose of the study is to develop and propose an effective methodology for assessing the foreign trade security of the country on the basis of its macroeconomic foreign economic indicators in terms of integration of logistics supply chains. Research methods - methods of economic, systematic and comparative analysis.
