Modern distances during maintenance and repair of cars by cooperation at car service enterprises

Yurii Savin Mykola Mytko

Abstract

The article presents a methodology for determining economically feasible distances for delivering vehicles to automotive service enterprises. Based on conducted research, economically feasible delivery distances have been determined for performing maintenance and repair work on vehicles at automotive service enterprises at the present stage. They take into account the current cost of fuel and lubricants, which has been established at fuel stations in Ukraine, as well as the hourly rate at automotive service enterprises. The object of the research is the variation of economically feasible delivery distances for vehicles to automotive service enterprises in modern conditions, depending on the cost of fuel and the cost of technical maintenance and repair services for vehicles. 153 The aim of the study is to determine economically feasible delivery distances for servicing and repairing vehicles at automotive service enterprises in contemporary conditions. Research Methodology. To achieve the stated objective within the framework of the conducted work, the following research methods were employed: analysis of processes and phenomena, mathematical modeling of processes, mass observation, statistical data processing of research results. Transitioning to a regional production infrastructure for maintenance and repairing vehicles, based on principles of concentration, specialization, and cooperation, allows in many cases to abandon comprehensive automotive enterprises, more effectively utilize existing production potential, and create necessary conditions to fully meet the needs of vehicle owners in technical maintenance and repair services. However, the feasibility of performing technical maintenance and repair work through cooperation is limited by expenses associated with the delivery of vehicles and repair assets to automotive service enterprises. In modern conditions, due to the state of war in the country, significant increases in the cost of fuel and the hourly rate at automotive service enterprises exert a considerable impact on economically feasible delivery distances. A methodology has been developed for determining economically feasible delivery distances for vehicles to automotive service enterprises. Economically feasible distances have been determined for modern conditions when performing technical maintenance and repair work through cooperation at automotive service enterprises
