Abstract

The article examines foreign experience in the development of a national culture of security and stability; the main challenges and threats in the field of economic security are systematized; the basic provisions of the national security strategies of developed countries are clarified; the strategy of economic security of Ukraine was formed in the context of current and future challenges. Object of research – national economic security strategy. Purpose of study – increasing the effectiveness of the formation of the national economic security strategy in the context of current and future challenges. Methods of research – method of abstracting, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, system approach. The national interests of Ukraine correspond to the sustainable development of the national economy, the integration of Ukraine into the European economic space, the development of equal and mutually beneficial economic cooperation with other states. Ensuring national economic interests requires the formation and implementation of a strategic course in the field of ensuring economic security, aimed both at the steady increase of the competitiveness of the Ukrainian economy and at the gradual strengthening of economic stability and, accordingly, the invulnerability of the national economy to external and internal threats. The following directions of state policy will be of great importance for ensuring the national economic security of Ukraine in the post-war period: increasing the level of defense capability and readiness to respond to crisis situations, obtaining external security guarantees, developing bilateral relations with strategic partners, restoring the economic and human development of Ukraine, increasing the efficiency of the state management. Forecast assumptions about the object of study – improvement of the mechanism of formation of the national economic security strategy in the context of current and future challenges
