Problems of the mass transition to the electrification of motor transportation and ways to solve them

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the importance of electrification in Ukraine, its impact on people and the environment, as well as the problems that arise with mass electrification. Special attention is paid to city transport and the latest electric cars. The development of electric cars every year brings humanity closer to the technological future, which should partially solve the problem of environmental pollution and help to abandon the internal combustion engine of cars. Already today, we have draft laws on the abandonment of internal combustion engines and the mass transition to electric cars in Ukraine. The object of the study is the state of automotive electrification on Ukrainian roads. The purpose of the work is to study the problems of the mass transition to electrification in Ukraine and the world, to make proposals for their solution. Research methods – statistical methods. An analysis of the transition to electric cars in Ukraine was carried out. The analysis of the use of electric transport in the city during the martial law in the country was carried out. A comparative analysis of the main advantages and disadvantages of electric cars was carried out. An analysis of the ways of development of electric cars in Ukraine and the world, especially in large automobile companies, was carried out. Based on the analyzed data, ways to popularize electrification in Ukraine are proposed.
