Abstract
The article examines the current state of the transport sector of Ukraine. It was established that the country's economy was negatively affected by two historical stages. First, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the activities of enterprises in the transport sector of Ukraine is determined. Second, the forecast state after martial law is established. The study of the state of development of transport and transport infrastructure of Ukraine in recent years shows unstable dynamics, which is mainly connected with the economic and geopolitical crisis in the country. It is established that many scientists pay attention to the issues of development and strategic management of the transport sector. In the works of many scientists, the risks and shortcomings of enterprise management in the conditions of the pandemic are identified, but it is impossible to fully investigate the issue of strategic development of the Ukrainian transport sector. Some aspects of the work of transport enterprises during the war were established and it was determined that their economic indicators significantly decreased. A necessary condition for effective development and overcoming the consequences of crisis phenomena in the transport industry, in particular those caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and martial law, is the development and modernization of Ukraine's transport infrastructure in accordance with modern technological requirements. Greening of the transport sector is defined as the main priority direction of development. Support for the "European Green Course" program will give impetus to cooperation with EU countries, which is good financial support for the development of the country's infrastructure. The program itself will lead to the renewal of rolling stock and the development of urban electric vehicles, which will improve the environment and satisfy the needs of the modern consumer. This will contribute to the uniform development of all regions of Ukraine, the improvement of the quality of life of the population, the development of trade and tourism, as well as the creation of new economic opportunities due to the attraction of foreign investments.
