Prospects for the development of the world market of services

The article examines the current state of the global services market. It has been established that in recent years the economy of Ukraine is in a rather critical state. The main determinants of the economic crisis are the closure of borders due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current martial law in the country. It has been established that this is precisely why most international companies left the market or ceased to exist altogether. So, it can be said that the world services market has slowed down. The works of the authors of the scientists were studied. Many of their works are devoted to the world services market. It was established that the authors did not fully take into account the current state of crisis in Ukraine's international activities. It has been proven that there is a large number of international classifiers of world services. The classification of the WTO can be considered as the main one for the implementation of the EDS. In world practice, the classification of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities) and others are used. Ukraine has its own classification of foreign economic services (KZEP), which is organized on the basis of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (Department of Trade Statistics). An analysis of the influence of the external environment was carried out, namely in the aspect of Ukraine's international activities using the PEST analysis. It was determined that the main negative determinants in modern conditions remain: the state of war in the country, the impact of quarantine restrictions, the dynamics of the exchange rate of foreign currencies, the increase in energy prices and inflation. Based on the conducted research, the article proposes directions for the future development of the world market of services. Proposed ways out of the critical state of enterprises that carry out foreign economic activity on the world market of services.
