Import activity in Ukraine and ways to improve it

The article is devoted to the justification of the scientific and theoretical aspects of the import strategy. The object of the study is the import activity of Ukrainian enterprises. The purpose of the work is to highlight the advantages, disadvantages and risks of the import strategy of Ukrainian enterprises. The purpose of the study is theoretical and analytical substantiation of ways to improve import activity in our country. The research method is a theoretical and analytical substantiation of the processes related to the peculiarities of the import strategies of Ukrainian enterprises. The development of competition in the market determines the need to increase the efficiency of the enterprise, an important component of which is the improvement of import activity. The authors provide a strategy of state policy in the field of import substitution. In the article, based on the study of the peculiarities of the strategy of Ukrainian enterprises and taking into account the advantages, disadvantages and risks of import activity, recommendations on risk management were developed. The results of the article can be used when developing an import strategy for foreign economic activities of enterprises.
